In The News: FHFA Approves Credit Score Changes For Mortgage Lending

The Federal Housing Finance Agency recently announced that VantageScore 4.0 as well as FICO 10T scoring will start to become available for homebuyers working towards mortgage qualification. The current FICO model has been required for approval since 2014. The goal of this new model will aim for more accurate and inclusive credit scores for buyers.

With these new changes, it is more important than ever to review the information currently on your credit report and work to improve credit health for accurate reporting.
